Pole Vault Safety Certification Board

Jan Johnson is the Pole Vault Safety Chair for USA Track & Field and the ASTM Pole Vault Equipment and Facilities Task Force Co-Chair. He was the 1972 Olympic pole vault bronze medalist and is the founder and operator of the SkyJumpers pole vault training camps. For 30 years, he has coached both men and women at the high school and college levels. SkyJumpers (www.skyjumpers.com) is located in Atascadero, California.
